Many people enroll in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Illinois State University because they have a dream of teaching a certain grade level. Though an admirable goal, there is quite a bit more to our program than simply learning how to teach third grade. Through our program, you will be exposed to many different levels and areas within the field of education. Our highly renown and experienced faculty will assist in helping you discover which aspect of the educational field truly grabs your attention. Review the different programs we offer in granting teaching certification, and see what makes our programs at Illinois State some of the best in the nation.
