Give two 30 second practice drills; give two 1 minute practice drills from page 77, 77C.

Students take two 3 minute timings from page 76, 76D

Introduce the modified block-style letter on page 77, 77D. Ask  students to differentiate between the block-style letter on page 74, 74D and this letter.

Students key the modified block-style letter on page 77, 77D correcting all errors. Save, print out and, turn in. If students finish early, they can log onto MicroType Pro and practice keying.

8:50 - 8:55

Log off computers; review the modified block-style letter.
