Illinois Technology and Leadership for Change (ITLC) is a program for professional learning for school leaders. The program was developed under the support of the Gates Foundations, Illinois State University, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), and general oversight from a coalition of over 20 organizations involved with education in Illinois.
ITLC consists of a series of one or two day workshops which introduce and develop the best practices about effective leadership. ITLC advocates an emphasis on data-driven decision making as the basis for effective continuous improvement. Each workshop in the series builds on the prior learnings and adds new information, new opportunities for practicing these concepts and tools, and gives participants a chance to reflect on and share thoughts regarding the applicability of these concepts and their tools to their organizations.
