Knowledge of Geography Dimension
Level two responses:
show limited mastery of skills
(e.g., map and globe skills), facts, concepts, and principles of geography.
use data that is incomplete,
inaccurate, or irrelevant.
reveal knowledge that is limited
to the most basic understandings of human and physical geography, e.g., locations of major political entities and
physical features.
may evidence some awareness
of the vocabulary of geography, but its use is often imprecise and inappropriate, revealing weak understandings
of the content.
Organization and Development Dimension
Level two responses:
are lacking in organization
and development.
relate only tangentially to
the topic and often they stray off subject.
are incoherent and show little
or no progression of thought.
seldom integrate events in one
place with events in other places and there is little evidence of understanding of connections and relationships
across space.
show little evidence of problem
solving ability. |
