Membership dues are $15 each semester.  The majority of this money goes to our national chapter.  The rest of the money is used to pay for social events and meetings. Membership dues are to be paid at the beginning of each semester. Pledge dues are $30 for the first semester and $15 for the second.

Members are required to complete 5 hours of community service each semester.  The activity you choose to participate in for KDE volunteer hours must be connected to the field of education.  Information on appropriate volunteer opportunities will be available at our meetings and the link below. We offer a variety of socials throughout the semester.  Members are required to attend at least one so that they are able to get acquainted with  other members, our executive board and faculty advisor. 

We meet usually every other Wednesday of each semester.  Meetings are mandatory, they consist of discussing old and new business.  Business can consist of fundraisers, committees or socials.  At the majority of our meetings we will also have a speaker to discuss with us current issues affecting educators today.  All meetings will take place in CVA 151 at 8:30-9:30pm.
