The Executive Committee shall determine the most
appropriate manner by which to offer and receive applications
for Chapter membership. The following minimum requirements shall
apply.

Qualifications for Undergraduate Students: |

Hold a GPA of 3.25 out of 4.0 (or its equivalent) |

Qualifications for Graduate students: |

Regular graduate admission status in a degree program within the College of Education |

At least 12 semester hours (or the
equivalent) of professional education courses
completed or in progress for graduate credit |

A grade point average not less than a 3.50
out of 4.0 based upon the total previous
collegiate record of the student for graduate
courses |

Persons employed as teachers or
administrators in local schools may be invited
to membership upon the recommendation of the
Membership Committee and the approval of the
Executive Committee. |
