(November 16, 2006) To celebrate American Education Week several student education organizations came together to send a "thank you" to area schools. Members from Students Serving Individuals with Disabilities, Deaf Redbirds Association, Association for Childhood Education, International, and Collegiate Middle Level Association put together bags of candy and cards to deliver to the Unit 5, District 87, and area childcare centers.
These area schools and organizations allow ISU College of Education students to observe and participate in their classrooms. The candy and card allowed the organizations to recognize and show their appreciation during this special week.
