(November 1, 2007) The College of Education hosted two events for local education alumni in honor of the University's Sesquicentennial Anniversary celebration. On Monday, July 16, 2007, alumni gathered on the DeGarmo Plaza for a wine and cheese social prior to the 10th Annual Jazz Festival and again at a hospitality spot under the Alamo II clock during the Homecoming parade on October 13, 2007.
At each event, there was a drawing for prizes that included two tickets to a private reception being held at the University Residence prior to the Jonathan Kozol presentation.
Congratulations to Gloria Schweinberg, '72, and Sue Scanlan Krenek, '82.
