PLEASE NOTE! NEW STEP IN THE SIGN UP PROCEDURE! After you sign up for your preferred time slot, e-mail Kim Mougey with the time slot/period you signed up for and a list of three classes you would be willing to attend (rank ordered by your first, second, and third choice). Kim will assign you a class, and when you arrive for your observation, you will be told which class to attend. If you have questions about this procedure, please
Please remember:
You must register in order to observe classes.
You may not register for more than 3 observations in a day.
Friday is not the best day to observe, as the school schedule is often packed with activities, tests, and other experiences that are not ideal for classroom instruction/learning observations. You can sign up for Friday, but it is NOT encouraged by the administration.
Woodruff allows only a limited number of observations for C&I 212 student teacher candidates per semester. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR OBSERVATION TIME, please notify Kim Mougey so that an observation timeslot will not be counted against the total available for ISU each semester.
Enter the school building marked "Main Entrance." It is the only entry point into the school for visitors.
Tell the door guard you
are observing for an ISU class. A visitor tag will be waiting for you. Go to the main office to sign in, on the ISU clipboard and you will be directed your classroom.
Make sure you complete the ISU sign-in/sign-out form for your C&I 212 section each time you sign-in to observe. This form will be returned to your ISU instructor at the end of the semester.
