The CECP office:

• administers procedures for Admission to Teacher Education
• coordinates placements for clinical experiences and student teaching
• monitors students’ progress in meeting program requirements
• maintains records of student assignments in schools
• documents clinical experiences for certification purposes
• processes stipends for classroom cooperating teachers, and
• issues tuition waivers to schools participating in pre-student teaching clinical experiences.
• evaluates credentials of graduate students for teaching and administrative endorsements
• advises past, present, and potential students regarding certification matters
• provides letters of verification for coursework, clinical experiences, and student teaching completed at Illinois State University.
